Electric Kiln Controllers & Temperature Programmers

Cromartie has long been associated with this trusted range of kiln temperature controllers and firing programmers. The latest generation offers improved reliability, refined firing control and optional WiFi capabilities for modern ceramic, pottery and glass kilns. All units are suitable for both new kiln installations and for replacing worn or outdated controllers.

Controllers can be supplied ready for connection to your existing multi-pin plug and lead, or complete with either an Amp or Han 7-pin plug and lead (please select the correct connection type from the options). For hard-wired installations, the controller can be used for direct switching on loads up to 20 Amps.

Existing kilns without a controller can usually be upgraded to accommodate a suitable unit. If you’re unsure which model best suits your kiln, or if you require a bespoke setup for a specific make or model, please contact our technical team — we’re always happy to advise.

Please note that controller prices shown below exclude the pre-wired Amp or Han harness and plug. When purchased together, the controller will be supplied with the correct harness installed.

Before ordering a controller, please check your kiln’s thermocouple type (K, R or S) to ensure the controller is correctly configured. Using the wrong thermocouple type will result in inaccurate temperature readings.
