C6 Pro Series Stoneware Glazes Liquid are professional cone 6 pottery glazes for stoneware, porcelain and mid-fire ceramic work. They are designed for potters, ceramic artists and studios using electric kilns who want rich, atmospheric-looking finishes with the depth often associated with gas or salt firing.
Supplied in ready-to-use liquid form, these C6 stoneware glazes are suitable for dipping, layering and creative surface work. They fire at around 1230°C and give makers room to experiment with bold surface depth, subtle tonal variation and decorative cone 6 glaze effects.
For a thicker application, add Powder Gum Arabic as required. As with all reactive and atmospheric-style pottery glazes, test first on your chosen clay body, glaze thickness and firing schedule before using on important work.
Fired results can vary depending on clay body, application thickness, layering and kiln conditions. Use test tiles to compare results before applying a new glaze or combination across a full batch of work.
