Potfest Suffolk – Haughley Park is set in the parklands adjacent to the magnificent Jacobean manor house.
The first Potfest venue in the East of the country, Haughley Park is located just outside Stowmarket, mid-way between Bury St Edmonds and Ipswich.
Over 90 makers will be selected to showcase a wide and diverse range of work that is guaranteed to delight and inspire. Discover functional and decorative ceramics to suit all tastes and budgets, and buy direct from the makers.
At each of the Potfest shows, potters are invited to enter a piece of work that responds to a theme.
The theme for the potters’ competition at all Potfest events will be announced early in the New Year. The 2024 theme was:
Hybrid – a mixture of two different things, resulting in something that has a little bit of both.
Vote for your favourite on the day for a chance to win free entry to all Potfest events for life with a Potfest Passport.
Potfest admission tickets will also be available to buy at the gate each day.
If you’re arriving by car, parking is free at the venue.
By train, the nearest station is Elmswell Station.
Refreshments are available on-site.
While the Potfest operators do everything possible to facilitate ease of access, this event is held outside, on ground that is often uneven and on a grass surface that may make movement difficult. If you have any concerns or queries, please contact Potfest, who will endeavour to clarify any questions you may have.
Guide dogs and other well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
